KITCHEN DESIGN CASE STUDY

Keith Keller

The Brief

MRS OG was really tired of her small kitchen and needed a total rehabilitation.

The kitchen cabinets were showing their age and the client wanted a more modern look.  After careful consultation we settled for a traditional style kitchen  with a colored modern twist.

The Project.

The asbestos ceiling had to go. In its place, we introduced pop ceiling with lighting. This gave the space a different texture.

Another metamorphosis, the wall and the floor finish was next. For the wall, we introduced pop screed and coated with high premium matt paint. The floor took a new set of tiles.

The kitchen cabinet was a blend of maroon cabinets and white quartz worktop. Simple design without the traditional handles gave the kitchen a bit of style.
